Well…a sonography technician can also be called an ultrasound technician…
Nowadays, you don’t just have to be a doctor or a nurse; there are so many other medical careers in the health industry.
Okay, what does a sonography tech do?
Sonographs or ultrasounds use sound waves that create an image on a screen to assess various medical conditions…It’s what they use to see babies in the womb when women are pregnant, for example…
If a career in this area interests you, check out this really neat page/site I found while “stumbling” the net, Medical-Career-Training.com, specifically having information about sonography schools and other medical careers!
The health industry is always seeking new faces to assist in the ever growing population’s health conditions…I read on the site that the median salary for an ultrasound technician was about $48,000/year back in 2002…
Just wanted to share this place in case anyone was interested…
