Welcome to Dessert - “Soup to Nuts 3″ Progressive Dinner Blog Carnival
If you're new here, you may want to subscribe to my RSS feed. Thanks for visiting!
This is my very first blog carnival to actually host, and it has been rather fun!
Make sure you also check out…
- Stories of a Traveling Diva for Hors d’oeuvres and Cocktails
- Group Writing Projects for Appetizers
- Herbal Connection for the First Course
- The Gonzo Papers for the Main Course
Here goes:
First of all, It’s Important to Get Off on the Right Foot…Catalog Number A1, so to speak!
Since this is Dessert, let’s talk about the Top Ten Tips - Having an Ice-Cream Sundae Party but you can’t be busy thinking about the 9 Hours, 37 Min, 45 Seconds & 1457 Calories…And contrary to popular belief, there are wines that go perfectly with dessert, like ice wines…Let’s just call them Rx Wine…LOL…Just what the Doctor ordered…
Secondly, if you joined the blog carnival in the hopes of Finding Your Cheese at the End of the Success Maze, you may also want to check out 10 Secrets to Business Success, Must Have SEO Wordpress Plugins + Search Engine Results, and the Fact Too Often Ignored.
It’s okay If You Can’t Be the Best at Something…, even if that is writing your resume…It may even be worth your while to look into Yaro Starak’s Super Virtual Resume and How To Get One…Problem solved!
Since this is a Progressive Dinner, many of the guests will spark up some pretty interesting conversations, many of them off the wall, including topics from a Bad Tax Idea: Getting Married without checking on the tax ramifications to How Tiger Woods Inspires My Parenting…LOL… For example:
If you’re a teacher, I’m sure you’re glad you’re not Grading Homework on Trivial History July 4 this summer, or else you might be Bugged and prone to saying Crap and Other 4 Letter Words, and then you’d have to figure out How To Deal With the Swear Jar…You’d be saying to yourself, “Are You Nuts?“
In political and social matters, we find out what’s Debi’s View in Athens, Alabama, USA. With so many Cultural Blunders in Tele-Sales, we remember that sometimes the state of affairs brings us right back to the days of West “By God Race Mattered” Virginia and Avoiding the Worst! I mean they can always find out How to Use Online Translation Tools for assistance.
Some of the guests at the dinners may even resort to name dropping…”We had a Memorial Day Special - Remembering Todd Christopher Weaver…Do you know of him?”, or “Have you visited the Ellis Feiman House in Autumn? It’s truly divine!” or “Did you hear about How Jacob Cass Raised Over $5000 in Sponsorship and Other Lessons?”
They may even talk a little bit about their summer fun…”We Visited One of America’s Castles, what are you doing this summer?”…”Oh, we look forward to relaxing in The Wicker Chairs when the Dock Dogs Come to Sippo Lake Park…”
No doubt there will be some rants like Top Ten Tips - Public Restroom Etiquette or An Open Letter to Jeep and raves like The Quest for Uncle Eddie’s, The Best Vegan Cookies, Wherever They May Be, which will run right into a “convo” about vegetarianism, veganism and the Herbal Connection: Land of Plenty.
Without a question, come Dessert time, everyone always ends up talking about Love and Riches…There will be some Swerving Headlong into Memory Lane remembering Powersaw Poetry - A Toothsome Tale of Love, and “Oh, speaking of teeth, how do you feel about Dental Plans vs. Dental Insurance?“
