That’s what I asked…LOL
Air New Zealand, www.airnewzealand.com, is going to be holding a casting call to choose 30 people in Los Angeles, all adults, to have their head shaved and tattooed with their new marketing campaign ad.
Yup…They’ll be cranial billboards! Wow…That’s over the top…Head & shoulders above the competition…LOL…
Apparently, it is to promote life-changing journeys to New Zealand.
Have you ever been to New Zealand?
I have a few friends from New Zealand and friends of mine have visited New Zealand, but I’ve never had the pleasure of going. I would love to though.
Have you ever had a Life-Changing Journey?
I have…I got as close to New Zealand as I could…I lived in Australia for 1 year when I was 18 yrs old, right out of high school. I was brought out to Australia to play softball on a local team and Australian state team for 1 yr.
I didn’t have to go to school, or work, but I did pick up a part-time job for a little while for some extra spending money.
I guess you could say I “found myself”…LOL…So cliché, I know…LOL…
How Did I Do That Playing Softball?
Well, I went by myself…without parents, so I certainly got the “party” bug out of me while living in Australia before I went to university in the United States, but I also learned a lot about responsibility.
Not only that, I lived in Western Australia and backpacked for 1 month from WA through Central Australia, climbed Ayers Rock while I was there, went North to the Northern Territory, traveling down rivers with saltwater crocodiles larger than our boats, and then followed the coast all the way back down to Perth…stopping in Exmouth to dive with whale sharks and to see Cable Beach – the longest beach in the world!
If you aren’t humbled by the sheer beauty and expanse of Australia, and you don’t have your eyes opened wide to how many adventures there are to have in the rest of the world too…you had your eyes closed!
It did change my life, I saw how other people lived, how opportunities can take you a lot of places, and it got me prepared to start my university journey!
I highly recommend giving yourself the opportunity to travel and have your own life-changing experience!
Back To This Contest!
I’m sure you’re trying to think of someone you know, who would be perfect for this…LOL…
I think this guy is a fabulous candidate! He probably saw New Zealand from space…hee hee…What do you think? LOL

My 22 yr old niece was one of the winners! She’ll be heading down to NZ in January I think. I’ll try and email you a pic of her tattoo’d head.
