A few years back, I remember calling my mother in Canada and telling her that I had an awful dream that someone broke into the house.

I told her to be sure she sets the alarm if she goes out anywhere, to be sure to set it when they go to sleep.

She took my advice seriously and happened to go out shopping that day. She was absolutely certain she set the alarm that day, although it was a short trip.

Sure enough, the alarm went off while she was out of the house and leaving the dogs at home. The police came shortly thereafter, and found no forced entry…

Obviously, the alarm scared the person off, and reports of a strange vehicle came later on from a few neighbors.

It is so very important, nowadays, to have home security, since they are easy to install and very inexpensive for what you’re protecting…Your life!

Now, it’s not just for theft purposes…it will immediately inform Emergency Services if there is a fire or a break-in alike.

My favorite feature of the ADT security system is the “alert chime” that beeps every time a window or door is opened or closed.

It’s easy to keep track of the people in the house, and be sure when you are all there, if a window or door opens, you know it’s not you…

When we are in Dallas, we often get together with friends to watch the Sunday NFL games, usually a group of between 5-10 people.

We will usually go to a local bar/pub, where they have all-you-can-eat hot dogs, hamburgers, brats, salads, and sometimes even BBQ beef brisket!

It’s a release from the day-to-day run around and stress-filled days of home business.

It’s nice to see smiling faces, genuinely happy you came to hang out with them, watch the games, play darts and just chat! It’s nice to hang with those friends you may not have even had a minute free to call during the week.

Some of the girls go to watch the games, some go just to hang with their man, or to come chat with the other girls…

I had no idea that you could complete an online Master of Science in Nursing…

Okay, up until this year, I’ve never even heard the term, “Black Friday”…

This year, I hear it every day! What’s that about?

I did a little bit of research for those of you in the same boat as me!

Black Friday is a term typically used to explain the fact that up until the day after Thanksgiving, the biggest shopping day of the year, most businesses are actually still in the “red” for the year…That will be November 28th this year!

…Meaning, they are at a deficit (haven’t broken even for the year).

When Black Friday hits, this is usually when most of the businesses out there go into the “Black”…Meaning, they now have broken even or are making a profit, finally, for the year!

Even in years of terrible economic crisis, Black Friday pulls businesses out of the black hole they are digging for themselves.

That’s crazy…and a little sad to me! Wow!

Waiting until the end of November to turn a profit in your biz is scary stuff!

Well, that’s what “Black Friday” is!

As I told you the other day, I have been trying to educate myself for our readers in regards to the skinny on diet pills.

All I can say, in a broad-sweeping Summary is this:
Some diet pills work well, are natural and safe. Some are very harmful or, at the very least, questionable. There is a wide range from very cheap to extremely expensive.

My Advice:
ALWAYS consult your physician before you begin taking ANY diet pills.

Also, if you want to know your doctor’s opinion on a pill, he may not know anything about that specific pill you are speaking of. Without having to purchase it, either print off the active ingredients or label from the bottle, or write it down, and present your doctor with this information so he can make an educated decision about the best diet pills for you.

Why Don’t Doctors Know About These Pills?
Your physician is probably VERY well acquainted with many of the brands and products out there, but there are just SO many!

They will probably know all about the prescription diet pills, but in all honesty, new diet pills pop up on the market EVERYDAY…Some good, some bad!

If your doc doesn’t already know about the pill, you may want to wait until they do before you try them out yourself!
