When we are in Dallas, we often get together with friends to watch the Sunday NFL games, usually a group of between 5-10 people.
We will usually go to a local bar/pub, where they have all-you-can-eat hot dogs, hamburgers, brats, salads, and sometimes even BBQ beef brisket!
It’s a release from the day-to-day run around and stress-filled days of home business.
It’s nice to see smiling faces, genuinely happy you came to hang out with them, watch the games, play darts and just chat! It’s nice to hang with those friends you may not have even had a minute free to call during the week.
Some of the girls go to watch the games, some go just to hang with their man, or to come chat with the other girls…
All-in-all, you can’t go wrong hanging out with friends, having a few bevies and watching those NFL games…
You might even feel like you were tailgating…LOL
At home in Canada, Kenney often makes some awesome tailgating recipe, that almost always involves cheese, and we watch the games on the TV together.
You should check out his All-Star Bean Dip! Just delicious!!!

And I truly enjoy that time with you and our friends or family love. Thanks for being a sports fan, wanting and being a part of football sundays (after church…lol)
thanks for a great post, we also get together with friends to watch the Sunday NFL games, usually a group of 4-6 of us. cheers!
The Last three years I have been on a journey to attend an NFL game in all 31 stadiums dotted throughout the american landscape. It’s a journey I call the Quest for 31. I average about 12 away games each year and have been to games in 26 different NFL venues. A typical Sunday finds me tailgating with local fans, wearing a home team jersey, and then writing a review about my experience for my website – http://www.nflfootballstadiums.com. You guys should check it out!
Wow…Now that sounds like a lot of fun Hans! How did this past season go for you?
