Mesothelomia is a rare form of lung cancer contracted from breathing in or ingesting asbestos fibers.
It can take up to 20-50 years for it to manifest and be noticed. The symptoms are often very common and difficult to distinguish between regular lung, cardiac, or digestive disorders and therefore, are often misdiagnosed.
The malignant Mesothelioma treatment often consists of laser (heat) surgery with a combination of chemotherapy to go with it.
However, more alternative treatments are being researched to combat this disease.
