For many businesses, “customer service” is over-rated!
I don’t know why…Customer service can potentially bring you a lot of repeat business.
Why?
Because it makes people happy – and makes them happy about your business!
When you enter into a business and you’re greeted with a smile, treated with respect and handled with care, you remember that…especially because nowadays, it seems so rare.
You’ll talk about that special treatment with your family and friends, and that, in turn, increases business for that company.
Well, there are a few companies out there that haven’t forgotten that customer service makes them money and keeps their customers happy!
We went into Land Rover today, unexpectedly because of what seemed to be a problem with a dead battery in our LR3.

To make a long story short, under warranty, they replaced our battery (I had never even heard of a battery being replaced under warranty before. Have you?) It’s the little things…
They replaced our DVD player, and we used one of our 6 free car services that you get when you buy the car – Yeah…FREE car service…Have you heard of that either? We didn’t even know that and they volunteered that information!
They had free waters, sodas and smiles…They were happy, respected you, explained everything quickly and easily…The bathrooms were spotless and there was FREE Wi-Fi. They even made sure our little dog had a water bowl.
The mechanics were smiling. The salespeople were smiling. The people behind the desk were smiling.
It was just an awesome experience – The Land Rover Treatment! Kudos!
Guess what…Now, I’m talking about it online to all of my friends, family and readers! That’s great word of mouth advertising, isn’t it? Simple!
Businesses: take notice!
