We’re about to do a full kitchen re-do on our new home we’re buying.
Being that we complete a lot of rehabs on homes with our real estate investing business, we see so many different materials for kitchen backsplashes available.
We have been looking at many different kinds and have been really loving the new stainless steel backsplash not only because they’re stainless steel, but they’re easy to clean and are really beautiful and luxurious looking.
This one looks like a mixture between clear glass, stainless steel and granite-like tiles in a great mosaic design…I’m Jonesing!
Not your typical idea of those industrial backsplashes you’re used to, is it?
What kind of backsplash do you have in your home? Do you love it or hate it? Let us know by leaving a comment below!

We’ve been on the road traveling a bit and Kenney didn’t want to miss the NFL games on TV today.
Not wanting to stop and watch them at a truck stop in a smoky room, we found a site online, SatelliteDirect.tv, where you can pay $49.95 and get over 3500 television channels worldwide.

Surely, we could find some or any of the NFL games there, right?
We found just about every other sport on television known to mankind – even artistic soccer ball handling routines and a competition for it! LOL…No NFL though…
There were tons of news, weather, sports, sitcom Continue Reading…

Maybe it’s just me, but I get excited about a great kitchen sink!
When it comes to my ideal kitchen sink, it has to have 2 or 3 reservoirs, a garbage disposal, a water filter hole, as well as a sprayer hole.
I like how an undermount sink looks, as well as the apron sinks, but the above mentioned features are much more important to me.
I have seen some really beautiful copper sinks that have caught my eye as well.
Of course, it all needs to be topped off with a gorgeous swan-neck faucet that could be multipurpose – i.e. wiith a sprayer in the neck that retracts – I can deal with that…LOL…
What are you lookng for in a kitchen sink? Let us know by commenting in the comment box below!

No, I’m not talking about lawn furniture cushions that sing or play music.
I’m talking about how every time I put the cushions back out on the furniture outside that it rains and I have to trod back out there and bring them all back in…LOL…
Here in Niagara, I looked up the weather for this next week – it is supposed to rain everyday next week with thunderstorms…
Seriously? Sheesh, we had a Continue Reading…

I remember a lot of the toys I had as a child. In fact, we were discussing it just the other day.
However, one toy I’ll never forget is my little, red wagon.

I would venture to say that most parents bought their kids wagons, and most of them were probably red…LOL…
I’d imagine that I remember this toy so fondly because you need another person to play with, usually your parents.
Children will always remember those things that involved their parents.
I also remember building an igloo with my parents in the backyard, and I was so very young!
* Parents: Plant those goodly memories in their minds today, to be remembered years from now and always!
Also, remember this parents – time goes by so quickly…If you don’t spend the time with your children today, you may just miss out on it completely. Before you know it, their childhood is all over, and you can NEVER recapture it!
By the way, have you seen the really neat new wagons they have nowadays? Check them out – they even have a sun-shade:

We just recently bought a new vehicle and, of course, we had to insure it too.
When we did, we were flabbergasted at how much more it would be per month. Ridiculous.
You can’t live without it, but it’s tough to accept the “highway robbery” that’s going on with insurance companies.
So, we’re stuck with this for a while, but I wished we would have known how to get cheap auto insurance prior to this.
We’re now shopping around for when our policies end…and we’ll be using a site like 2Insure4Less.com when we do to find a better quote. Sheesh!

Firstly, I don’t believe in celebrating Halloween, so I never go out that night.
That’s not the only reason though. It seems to me that on Halloween and New Year’s Eve, everyone is trying so hard to have fun that they’re not.
It’s like they want to have fun so bad, they’re pretending they’re really having a great time.
Either that, or people get so sloppy drunk that they make it un- Continue Reading…

Buying someone a watch or jewelry, either for a special occasion or just because, is such a wonderful gesture. It can be a lot of fun to shop for them too, if you know what you’re looking for and what to look out for…
To some, this can be a super-stressfest and something they would rather avoid like the plague…
So, I thought I’d pass on a great Jewelry & Watches Buying Guide from ShopWiki.com.
After you check out the guide, then you can shop on that site, but not just as though it’s their products, it actually has revolutionized shopping online for Jewelry, watches (and everything else that you could buy online) since it finds every store on the internet by crawling like Google.
Traditional shopping sites will only show you stores that have PAID for placements…ShopWiki will give a shopper everything it can find. For a person looking for a great deal, this means you can find anything and everything for sale on the web at ShopWiki.com.
There are way more products from more stores and that means better deals and savings for you!
So, now that you know more about how it works, you can go and concentrate on the fun part…Browsing and choosing for different Gemstones, Birthstones and beautiful Precious Metals…
Look, we know you’ve got taste and style…LOL
However, if you still don’t feel comfortable, feel free to browse ShopWiki’s numerous buying guides, which will even tell you which metals go best with which precious stones…It takes the guesswork out of it for you, if you need help…
You’re not just limited to jewelry for women…They also have Men’s Jewelry information, and don’t forget, you can find every product available online in one place that you can easily compare…
Well, if you’re in the mood to buy that special gift for someone, this would be a great place to start…

Today, I wanted to share with you one of our other websites, The Make Money From Home Blog.
So, I thought I would share a glimpse of the reason my husband and I created this site!
We hope you get a chance to check it out! This article was written by Kenney.

I grew up in a single family home. We were always penny pinchin’, we never had a car, never owned a house, and moved, at times, every year or every other year.
Don’t get me wrong, I love life! My mom and I made the best of what we had. In fact, we had a blast, but I swore that I would never live like that again and that when I made it, I would “share with the world” the quickest and fastest ways to make money from home.
I want to teach people how to Be their own boss, call their own shots, and make as much money as they believe they can.
This is what drives The Make Money From Home Blog. I know how hard it is out there…Trying to make ends meet and sometimes feeling like there is no hope.
…Searching to find some truth among all the bullcorn scams…Trying to find what really works, so you can get right to Continue Reading…

Don’t be caught saying, “I wish I would have…” or “I was going to do that, but…“!
Go on and Enter now to have a featured Article in the Soup to Nuts 3 Blog Carnival.
This will be “held” like a “Progressive Dinner” – That’s one where you start off at someone’s house for hors d’oeuvres, off to another home for appetizers, to another for the 1st course, another for the main course, and a final destination for Dessert (we are holding the Dessert course right here, on Blog N’ Butter)!
If you’ve never participated in a blog carnival, here’s all you need to know, it’s the best way to attract visitors to your blog and to connect with other bloggers.
Of all the carnivals out there, why is Soup To Nuts the one carnival you shouldn’t miss? Because there is no other carnival that provides you as much exposure. It’s that simple!
Every website and every blog attracts their own organic traffic.
In Soup To Nuts, unlike other carnivals, you don’t benefit just from the traffic that comes to one blog, you get visitors from five different host blogs.
People visiting the carnival can easily navigate from one host blog to another, just as in a progressive dinner where you go to a different house or restaurant for each course.
Another unique benefit of Soup To Nuts is that you get the opportunity to spotlight five different posts. You can enter a post in each of the five courses. If you publish multiple blogs you can submit five entries from each one!
Check out this post for all the rules; if you have any questions write a comment there and you will be provided an answer.

I will be hosting the Dessert course here at Blog N’ Butter this time around.
Stories of a Traveling Diva is serving Hors d’oeuvres, Group Writing Projects is serving Appetizers, Herbal Connection serving the First Course, The Gonzo Papers and serving the Main Course.
***
It is not expected that there will be a Drinks After Dinner Reception this time…which means once the deadline passes, submissions will not be accepted for inclusion. {Enter now}
Please Remember: To truly benefit from any carnival you need to do more than submit an entry. It’s necessary to visit the carnival, check out other blogs and write comments. That’s where your big payoff comes.
