If you’re looking for a pre-paid cell phone service, then Metro PCS might be the way to go.

They’re based out of Dallas/Fort-Worth and when you get your service, you can call anyone in the United States for free, as long as you are actually in the Dallas Metroplex.

You can travel with your phone and pre-pay for roaming minutes, but it’s extra and must be activated before you leave the Dallas Metroplex…you can’t start it after you’ve left the area.

This phone does not work in Canada, as far as we know, but most Texans aren’t regularly traveling to see our Northern neighbors like we do.

Cell phones sometimes feel like a necessary evil…What ever did people do before cell phones? LOL

They are so commonplace now that they seem to be quite boring at times!

I was looking at my cell phone today, and noticed, it’s just so plain…boring.

It’s not a new iPhone or anything like that…no case…nothing…I need some Cell Phone Bling! (I thought this little charm is cute because I have 3 miniature schnauzers at home!)

In fact, my phone is so nondescript that I usually can’t tell mine and my mother’s apart, except for the scratch on my screen…

I think I’m going to look at Cell Phone Skins or something.

These days, anything that can make me smile in between all my crazy business is a welcome thing for sure.

It will make my life easier and make my phone easier to spot around the house when I misplace it too.

So, Cell Phone Accessories are the next thing to check out on my list.

What’s wrong with my cell phone? It’s dead all the time!

Well, there’s one of 2 main things that could be going on with it.

1. Your charger isn’t working: You’ll be able to tell by the battery bars shown on the screen.

2. The battery needs to be replaced: You’ll be able to tell if the light is actually on on the charger when you plug your phone into the charger, and on the screen of the cell phone, you should be able to see an indication that it is, in fact, charging.

If anything is wrong with either of these processes above, you may be in line to spend some serious money on buying a new charger or a new cell battery.

Your mobile phone can actually be a life saver or an emergency tool for survival.

1. Emergency - The Emergency Number worldwide for Mobile is 112. If you find yourself out of the coverage area of your mobile network and there is an Emergency, dial 112 and the mobile will search any existing network to establish the emergency number for you, and interestingly, this number 112 can be dialed even if the keypad is locked. Try it out.

2. Have You Locked Your Keys In Your Car? - Does your car have remote keyless entry? This may come in handy someday. Good reason to own a cell phone: If you lock your keys in the car and the spare keys are at home, call someone at home on their cell phone from your cell phone. Hold your cell phone about a foot from your car door and have the person at your home press the unlock button, holding it near the mobile phone on their end. Your car will unlock. Saves someone from having to drive your keys to you. Distance is no object. You could be hundreds of miles away, and if you can reach someone who has the other ‘remote’ for your car, you can unlock the doors (or the trunk).
