Okay, so I was having a few drinks with some friends in the lounge at an upscale restaurant in Toronto and happened to see one of my favorite celebs eating with some friends. I thought it would be too intrusive to go over and meet her to ask for her autograph or something, so we just watched every move she made…

As her and her entourage got up to leave, I noticed that she dropped her wallet…Of course, I got up to pick it up and hopefully return it to her. By the time I got the wallet, she was whisked off by her bodyguards into her car waiting outside, and she was nowhere to be found…

Posters Prints - Hand Holding Credit Card Art Photographic Print - Artist: - Poster Size: 24x18By Alan Barnes

For most Americans, credit card debt is a dangerous and growing problem. The average American family has more than $8000.00 in credit card debt and spends more than they earn on a annual basis. Credit cards can be useful tools when they used properly, but more and more Americans are getting in over their heads and threatening their financial futures. It is important to realize that just because you can pay your minimum payments each month doesn’t mean you don’t have a credit problem. Joint Application Credit Card - What You Need To Know

By Morgan Hamilton

A joint application credit card is simply a credit card that allows two people to use it. It typically works as follows: An individual completes a credit card application and then requests an additional card.

The other card or cards will have that second persons name on it, but will have the same account number assigned to it. Probably the most common example of this is a husband and wife.

In many cases married people have joint financial accounts for such things as savings, checking and investment portfolios. It greatly simplifies the management of finances. Another common reason for filling out a joint application credit card is a parent wanting to assist their child in establishing credit.

In a way it is similar to them cosigning an auto loan. This is often done when the child goes away to college. The advantage here is that the parent can keep an eye on all the activity generated by the student. Now here are some important points that you must understand before applying for a joint credit card.

Bad Credit Credit Cards Can Give You A New Start

By Pat Wood

Life happens with pitfalls. People don’t plan on losing their jobs or becoming ill, but it does happen and if I had a choice between eating, paying rent, or paying my credit card bill, guess which one is going to lose out, and then there goes my credit from excellent to good to bad to poor.

In my experience there are two types of Bad Credit Credit Cards. One is a secured card, and the other has a much higher rate of interest. Both can be used to rebuild your credit worthyness after getting back on your feet.

Secured credit cards are great for rebuilding your credit. You send the credit card company a pre deposit amount set by the company. This amount will be equal to your credit limit. Pay over your minimum every month and send your payment in before the due date and you will build your credit up gradually. Never miss a payment, be late on a payment, or go over your credit limit even by a small amount.

You don’t want the company to ever have to take from your Continue Reading…

Some Credit Card Basics

By Bobbie McKee

Some people get in trouble with credit cards because they don’t completely understand how the card is supposed to work. They only know that a piece of plastic comes in the mail that they can use it in stores and pay the bill later. Knowing how credit cards work can assist you use them sensibly.

Credit card companies make money when you pay them interest. The company determines the sum of interest you pay each month by using the annual percentage rage, or APR. A fixed APR doesn’t vary much over time. Should your credit card company change the APR, they must inform you before it is enlarged. The variable APR can alter from time to time. You can find out which kind of APR you have by reading your credit card application.

The grace period is the number of days that you can pay off your Continue Reading…
