It used to be believed that once you hit your 20s, neurons in your brain started to weaken and memory loss begins…They thought it was irreversible, but have now discovered that once old neurons wear out, we can activate new ones, as part of a brain “rewiring”, so to speak…Find out how!

I am summarizing and just listing the ways and leaving the link to the article for you to read more on each point. If you’re looking for a quick list that’s straight to the point, and easy to understand, here it is:

3. Mental Stimulation

4. Social Interaction - People are good medicine

5. Sleep & Nap

The Appendix is Important in the Body - Find Out Why

Appendix Until recently in the scientific world, the appendix was often laughed at or mocked as a useless vestigial organ in the body…It is removed at the slightest idea of a problem, as it could burst and really cause a ton of problems for you.

Photo left: Part of the digestive system - The appendix is also called the vermiform process or vermiform appendix. Click the photo to get a larger version to study.

So, it has been wondered, why are we born with one in the first place, and why have we, as humans, not evolved to a point where we don’t grow an appendix if it is useless anyway?

The Reason: Because it IS important!

This new school of thought has been gaining clout in the medical world, as it seems to be a very probable and plausible reason for why we have an appendix in the first place.

Just in case you didn’t know, our intestines carry and hold a LOT of bacteria - something like 13 million bacteria/gram of feces…You’re thinking, “YUK!”, right?

Well, less than 1% of all known bacteria is harmful to humans, and in fact, there are bacteria that are essential to our survival!

Now, let’s talk about diarrhea (LOL…probably one of our least favorite topics, right?)

When we have serious diarrhea, our bacteria are washed out of the body, including all of those essential, good ones…

What does that mean?
Well, if we have no bacteria in our intestines, that leaves them open to any new, and possibly bad, bacteria and/or viruses to set up shop and multiply ridiculously fast, and make us very, very sick. There are no “good” bacteria around to fight them off, and block them out of their spot…

So, what do we do then? Well, you Continue Reading…

Now, I don’t have any other scientific data to give to you here. What I am going to do is give you what to do in a nutshell, and you can check out the link below for more information if you really want to.

Basically, there are 4 nutrients that could help you if you supplement them into your diet:
